How Croatia Wine Stories handles cookies and tracking.

The short version: we don’t use cookies

This website does not use cookies. We set no first-party cookies, run no analytics or advertising trackers, and store nothing on your device to follow you across the web.

What that means in practice

  • No analytics or tracking. We do not use Google Analytics or any similar service, so no behavioural or advertising cookies are ever set.
  • Language preference. Your choice of English or Croatian is reflected in the page address (for example /hr/), not stored in a cookie.
  • Location map. Our map uses OpenStreetMap tiles rendered with Leaflet. It loads without setting any tracking cookies. If you follow the “Get directions” link, you leave our site for Google Maps, which has its own policies.
  • No consent banner. Because nothing on this site requires consent, we don’t interrupt your visit with a cookie pop-up.

Future changes

If we introduce online booking or payment in the future, that functionality may set strictly necessary cookies. We will update this policy, and add any consent controls required by law, before such features go live.
